VISION STATEMENT:
The One Waterloo Campaign envisions a campus in which our differences are not just identified, but celebrated.
The One Waterloo Campaign is hiring!
We're looking for energetic, passionate students to steer the campaign, and design and implement programming! The following are the specific roles the campaign offers with varying levels of commitment. Please apply before 5pm on November 2nd 2009. Interviews will be starting Nov 3. You will be contacted via email for an interview.

Steering Committee
The steering committee determines the direction the diversity campaign will take for the coming year. Members of the committee will bring diversity issues on campus forward to help shape the programming and education initiatives of the campaign to address these issues. The committee itself meets 1 times a term, but student committee members will meet with the co-chairs once per month. The successful candidates will have proven leadership experience. Previous experience with the diversity campaign is preferred. We are currently seeking 4 students to sit on the committee.
Director
The One Waterloo director helps to manage teams of project managers working on various programming projects throughout the year. The directors will have regular meetings with their project managers and assist with event planning and logistics. The directors will report to the Campaign Co-chairs and will be expected to meet with them weekly. Directors will also attend training sessions as needed. Directors will also be asked for input on marketing and messaging for the campaign. The successful candidates will have proven leadership experience, and the ability to mentor volunteers. Previous experience with the diversity campaign is preferred but not required. Experience with event planning and management is preferred. Experience with marketing and event promotion is an asset. We are currently seeking two directors with the potential for more positions opening up as needed.
Project Manager
he One Waterloo project manager will be the team lead for a particular project or event. Project managers will be in charge of creation, planning, and execution of these projects. This will include bookings, set-up and take down of events, contacting speakers and volunteers, and other related tasks. The project manager will also manage teams of volunteers working on the project with them, and assist these volunteers as needed. The Project Manager will also attend training sessions as needed. The project managers will report to their Director and the Campaign Co-chairs. Project Managers must have experience planning and executing events. Leadership and experience managing volunteers is preferred, but not required. Experience with marketing and event promotion an asset. We are currently seeking two project managers to assist with International Celebrations Week, and two project managers for other events as needed.
General Volunteer
General Volunteers can assist the Project Managers in event planning. General volunteers can also help out with event set-up and execution the day of the event. General volunteers will also attend training sessions as needed. This role does not require any previous experience with the diversity campaign or event planning, but it is an asset.
